The Saturn-Pluto Square on November 15, 2009 Part II

            In order to better understand the core themes associated with any ‘generic aspect’, one that is actually based on current planetary alignments and not just those linked to how any planet in transit affects any ‘person’ individually (person can refer to an actual person or to a country, or city or company or any other ‘person’ in the eyes of the law), we need to look to the chart when the two planets in question formed a conjunction. In this case we are referring to Saturn and Pluto. The official date of the last conjunction was November 7, 1982 (see chart). This article may seem intense, dark and scary and it is somewhat so, but this is what the charts reveal. For this very reason and for the sake of being that much more aware of current events, I urge you to read it through.

            I will tell you right away that I am presenting this chart from the standpoint of understanding that what is happening synchronistically now with Saturn forming its last Square to Pluto before the next conjunction (January 12, 2020 in Capricorn!) can be seen to have been ‘conceived’ - a conjunction represents the germination of the seed as an official moment in time. Given that we are dealing with Flu epidemics and viral plagues that many on the internet are doing their best to prove, alert and convince others were created and staged by ruthless behind the scenes power players. Yes, H1N1 has received many mixed reviews indeed. Now, it appears that many hundreds of people in the Ukraine who received the H1N1 vaccine are dying of what is being hailed as a pneumonic Plague. I cannot officially say that this is true. However, I have come to understand that the entire main stream media is privately owned and given the competitive nature of monopolizing interests in business; it would seem naïve to believe that the main stream media is offering facts and truths with the welfare of others as their top consideration. That the infrastructures of society are coercive forces in themselves is another story but an idea I presented back in July. Remember the movie, Little Shop of Horrors? Anyway, in that movie the innocent plant pleaded to be fed but the more it was fed the more it needed to be fed. I am creating a parallel with the infrastructures of society because upholding these can weigh in as more valuable and important than people’s welfare. This is a rather complex idea but one worth considering before we demonize others, whoever they may be, with fear, anger and hatred. Consider the movie series the Matrix where the beast or the Matrix is created by the computers, the infrastructure, which takes over the planet and creates an artificial existence to perpetuate its own. This is what I mean about the beast and I would imagine this is not a new or original idea but one worth mentioning. We are wise to make efforts to activate love, patience, compassion and forgiveness rather than the negative alternatives because we are susceptible to becoming the emotions we feel. There is much more that could be said about this but I digress.

            At the time of the last Saturn / Pluto conjunction the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter were all closely aligned in Scorpio. Uranus was the planet of lowest degree in Sagittarius and Neptune was in the later degrees and close to exactly conjunct the Galactic Center at the time. Mars was in Capricorn and conjunct the South Node. Chiron in Taurus in the Solar 7^th House in exact lower Inconjunct to Neptune also merits attention. There is much to say about this chart as is the case with any chart in Astrology. It is ever important to begin with the Sun. It was in Scorpio with Mercury trailing yet close enough to be considered ‘combust’ or blinded by the Sun’s light. This indicates research being done yet potentially from a place of ill conceived notions. Saturn / conjunct Pluto with the Sun in Scorpio suggest a cold and cerebral intelligence and Venus in Scorpio lends to a ruthless ambition. Jupiter conjunct Venus is generally positive yet it will also serve to expand a negative and it would seem that there are some negatives here to be sure. Mars is the lower octave ruler of Scorpio and with it conjunct the South Node in Capricorn, it would seem that there were those who might have seen the writing on the wall regarding the decline of their power. Many would agree that the H1N1 is a master plan ploy to perpetuate power. With Uranus in Sagittarius at the lowest degree and conjunct the second cusp in the Solar chart, there is an indication that the plot includes stirring a revolutionary hysteria. It would appear that the plan is working. It is worth noting here that Scorpio is linked to micro biology…. Chiron in Taurus in the solar 7^th house is poorly placed and is yet another indication of ruthless competitive attitudes at the helm of mischief.

            It is worth noting that there may be more positive expressions of this energy pattern out there in the world. However, the line-up of planets casts a dark shadow indeed. Scorpio is all about power and the stellium there suggests that the current world events gaining the attention of every nation are all about power. Further, given the fact that pharmaceutical companies are as rich and powerful as they are, suspicions are certainly warranted that the vaccines that are supposed to protect us may well be forms of biological warfare. Yet another consideration is the real money powers of our world probably care little about national interests as they have for a long time now become multi national.

            Now with this current Saturn Square Pluto chart, we again see a host of planets in Scorpio, including Sun, Mercury, Venus and the waning Moon. Mars in Leo high in the chart indicates heroism is at play amidst it all. Also, with Pluto in Capricorn we just might begin to see the early signs of reformation sweeps through all governments in the world as a more educated populace wrestles for control over the hidden private interests that have so long won the day. Pluto, the agent of transformation by any other name, in the sign of governments is promising if dire considering the highest reaches of societal structure will undergo the transformational purge process.

            It is interesting for Canadians, by the way, that April 17^th 1982 was the year that Pierre Elliot Trudeau successfully achieved one of his more important life and political goals of Repatriation of the Constitution (see chart). Given the weak Natal Chart for Canada based on the July 1, 1867 date, I would say that Trudeau was a wiser and more visionary man than many might realize. Trudeau had respect for Astrology, as I understand. Choosing this date with the Sun in Aries, Moon in Aquarius, Neptune exactly conjunct the Galactic center (26 Sagittarius) with Uranus there as well in the early degrees, Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Libra, Mercury in Taurus and Venus in Pisces offers a powerful chart pattern worthy of a nation as great as ours is and has the potential to be yet.             Another bit of synchronicity for this time is that the Sun is exactly square Neptune on the same day as the Saturn / Pluto Square. This supports the fact that there is much confusion, denial and deception at play in the world at this critical turning point. Misplaced ideals and fantastic notions can come from any sector of society and it is and will contribute to a sluggish awakening. With Neptune still closely aligned to Jupiter and Chiron, it might be said that whatever is going on is all part and parcel of a larger evolutionary process of awakening and healing.

            On a final positive note, Neptune is close to exactly conjunct the Galactic Center in this chart of November 7, 1982 when Saturn conjunct Pluto. With the North Node in cancer in the Solar 9^th House, the ruling house of Sagittarius and with Aquarius, in turn, on the 4^th house Cusp of Cancer, it would seem that providence has woven a shiny silver lining into the fabric of this otherwise dark plot. Few in 1982 would have been able to predict that the internet would become the powerful force that it has giving the masses some real leverage in the game with access to perhaps the greatest power of all, free exchange distribution of information and knowledge! Our most important responsibility, therefore, is to make full use of it.
