Horoscope for the week starting October 30, 2009 Tip of the Week: This is the time of thinning of veils between worlds. Vivid and unchecked imaginations abound. Masks and make-up, costumes and disguises, tricks and treats all contribute to the fun. Traditionally, this time is called All Hallo’s Eve. There is a mystical and magical theme at the core of this annual event. Yet, it has also stirred fears and continues to do so for some. The unknown can be scary. The notion of death and decay and where we go and what happens when we leave the body come into question. The other side is murky and grey, cold, painful and evil in the imaginations of the fearful. That place or state where the ghosts of the departed linger caught between worlds, stuck in the Bardo, confused and haunted and haunting to those still in their body. Such infantile fears portray the over active imagination of those afraid of the dark, afraid of death, afraid of life, afraid of their shadow, who live in fear. These days this once sacred ceremony, that celebrated the connection between the material world and the realms where the dearly departed go when death relieves them of their body and all the webs that weave their personalities to family, friends and neighbours, is called Halloween. Now it is a time of fun and games and parties and alter egos finding expressions and tricks and treats too. Yet, still there remain many who find the entire event distasteful and lowly, even dark and evil and frightening. Yes, Scorpio time does evoke many mixed feelings and stir deep, dark secrets of the inner realms. Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20) Delving into the deeper depths is the call now. For the love of passion and the passion of love, it is time to play. Looking beneath the surface to what is hidden from view adds a provocative twist. Commitments are easy when beauty and pleasure are central to the deal. Changes are brewing that include endings followed quickly with new birth. Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21) Death and rebirth are the deep mysteries. Respect for life requires respect for death. Change, transformation and renewal are synonyms for this spiritual, cyclical process. The touch of death can be applied to any area of your life that is in need of change and renewal. Perhaps it is your home, or your relationships, or perhaps it is you. Expect to be challenged to face your fears. If you want to gain the full measure of your power, this is what you must do. The secret to overcoming fears is to look straight at them and to take direct action free of excessive thoughts. Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23) Deep in your lair hides a chamber of secrets. Pioneering courage and bold resolve will be needed to keep your eyes open. Imaginative intuition and/or psychic sensitivity may be required to see and understand what is actually there. Yes, there is magic and mystery in the matrix. So, will it be the red or the blue pill? Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22) The power of thoughts and words is the spell that we cast to co-create. In the ‘holodeck’ of life, the grand hypnosis of the Great Spirit, we do possess powers. There is a reason abracadabra and alahkazam are the magical words of tales of wizards and magicians controlling elements and creatures and casting spells. It is time to learn to use your magic in new and wonderful ways. Make it so! Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22) What is that potion you are concocting? An elixir of love! You want more of what feels good! You want to break through to the other side, but of what other side do you speak? Is it the high side, the deep side the other side, inside…? Sounds like a treat; but is it a trick? Ah, a magical elixir producing powerful pleasures. Yes please! Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21) A special light is being emitted from those dark eyes, that penetrating gaze that hypnotizes lovers to obey commands. By the way, you have to wear a crazy hat to play. Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20) Something strange, this way comes; a tale of mystery and suspense. Don’t be afraid, it’s natural at this time of year.
