Horoscope for the week starting September 25, 2009 Tip of the Week:
(September 26 at 7 pm at the Capitol Theatre in Nelson BC is my next presentation.) The 2012 era is gaining the attention of more people everyday. Given its implications, this is very understandable. Popular Mayan scholars, prophets and visionaries posit December, 21st 2012 as the key date marking the end of a grand cycle of 26,000 years, also called a “Great Year” and the beginning of a new one. There are many predictions about what this implies. That the date corresponds with Winter Solstice is the main theme that initially gained my attention. Western Astrology is founded upon the authority of the sunlight on the planet and the division of the year marked by the Solstices and Equinoxes. Within the inner depths of the meaning of the Sun is the ancient understanding of the Solar Logos which recognizes the holistic and spiritual nature of the Sun. I am currently offering a Visual Presentation about the 12/21/2012 theme. In addition to providing an overview and various insights about this key date and the era that is also represents from the perspectives of leaders both popular and less so, yet at least as profound, my aim is to also activate the awareness of the audience to concepts, realities and truths that will be new to many. These include a deep understanding of how and why Astrology works, the rapidly emerging New Paradigm and what it means and implies, the Age of Aquarius in context, rare esoteric wisdom and spiritual truths that unite us all. Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20) Relationships will take on new meaning this week. Are you giving too much or perhaps not enough? Saturn, Venus and Mercury retrograde all in Virgo support your casting a constructively critical eye at the quality of your associations. With major changes and transformations occurring in your public and professional life this is a good time to solidify you’re overall foundation with emphasis on relationships. Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21) Honing-in on your gifts, talents and services is in the spotlight. Improvements and refinements for the sake of greater satisfaction are featured. This includes a process of prioritization. Creating more balance in your overall lifestyle is featured. You are ready to yield to the command of your higher mind. Accessing your inner authority via increased intuitive attunement will prove empowering. Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21) Creating more harmony is a core aspect of life and important to and for you now. Your health may be the first consideration. Amidst all the details, demands and duties of life on our time and focus, it is easy to slip into negative and neglectful habits. Simply walking more, plus fresh air, clean water and ample doses of nature can all help a lot. Weave greater health into your daily journeys. Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22) Creating more harmony close to home is the call now. What this means depends on your situation. Take the time to take note of what is out of balance and what you can do to restore it. Where others are involved, make propositions rather than proclamations. Taking an active approach to tackle problems and projects is likely. However, be careful that your critical analysis does not turn into criticisms. Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23) Activating more social connections is in focus. A desire to increase the quality of your products and services is likely. This includes strengthening your overall foundation which also implies focusing to increase integrity. Do what you say, say what you do; take action, follow through; share the space and solve issues face to face. These examples are to help you be more aware, to clarify intentions and to create more flow. Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22) Outlining priorities and strengthening your confidence go hand in hand. Sometimes it is simply confusion and/or excess that undermines confidence. You may feel rebellious these days or at least determined to assert yourself in new ways. The new paradigm of healing and consciousness recognizes that the way to meaningful change is to work from the inside out. Take risks to prove to yourself that this is true. Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22) The Libra Sun indicates the urge to take pioneering initiatives. With Mars high in your solar chart, it is likely that this theme is already well established but now it will increase. On the other hand, taking a more empathetic, loving and compassionate approach verses being on the war path is also a current theme. Since what goes around comes around, this consideration is at least as practical as it is ethical. Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21) Taking refuge from it all may find you out in the garden or in wilder natural settings. Whether in you private lair or out and about, the desires for some solo space is likely. Yet with your ambitions riding high, you may still want to get a lot done. Rich exchanges with friends and lovers to share and exchange ideas and insights will also appeal. Aim to be more self aware! Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21) Who are your friends and who are not? Such questions can be difficult to answer. Sometimes those who challenge us the most are the ones who care the most. Regarding your career and social standing in general, you may feel the need for a review of what and perhaps who is working and not. Gathering new skills and tools and cultivating your talents to increase your overall sense of power is a lingering focus. Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19) Creating more harmony in your public and professional life is the call now. This includes being more conscientiously aware and gathering more knowledge. The danger now is that you will mistake the details for the bigger picture. Accept that your perceptions may be off due to Mercury retrograde. Other key players may be pushing you to take action or they may be asking you to cool it down. Aim for balance. Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19) Cultural and artistic events and expressions may be gaining more of your time and attention now. Knowing how much to give to situations and when to simply sit back and receive will play a role. Making steady headway in more practical areas will feel right and includes clearing away limiting beliefs and strengthening your overall emotional state and sense of confidence. Share the spotlight and this includes getting some. Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20) Balancing of accounts is a common aspect of life, yet sometimes it becomes even more important, like now perhaps. Creating more harmony and flow includes cleaning and clearing debts, blocks, your body, or home space or narrow perspectives and so on. On the other hand, deepening connections with others will stimulate more exchanges and energy sharing helping you with the clearing.
