With the Sun now in Virgo, we are into the final stretch of summer. The change in sunlight, temperature and weather in general is and will be increasingly apparent. These subtle yet sure shifts are a significant feature of Astrology. The yearly seasonal round may seem simply poetic to some, yet when you get closer to it our entire reality surrounds the weather and from it extends may branches of science. Astrology is one of those sciences. Although Astrology has come to be known as a pseudo science by a main stream mentality, it is actually the mother of all science. Coming to study and understand nature, our relationship to it and the practical realities, responsibilities, possibilities and necessities in this fundamental relationship gave birth to scientific enquiry. Among these was geometry mathematics, architecture, agriculture and so on. In Ancient times every advanced culture in the world built their societies in accordance natural realities, especially on significant dates like the Solstice and Equinoxes. It is more than interesting to note that those events continue to occur at the exact same time each year. The pyramids even reveal direct correspondences with the musical scale.  Woven into this ancient science was sacred geometry which is a core feature of the foundations of Astrology. Given the ecological crisis of our times due to our poor relationship with nature, we are wise to re-establish a respectful relationship and Astrology offers an important means of doing so.

Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

Efforts to create more harmony will become apparent this week. Love relationships are implied. Cultivating a healthier degree of self love may be part of the plot. This will include some core changes and renovations close to home. You may experience a full range of emotions connected this as the process cause you to break familiar patterns and structures. Aim to improve and refine inside and out.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

A creative urge to produce more beauty and/or to at least identify it begins this week. This may include acknowledging your home and family and where you live. More intentionally, the artistic urge will emerge. Deepening your love may include partnerships and it may also include being clear about doing what you love and loving what you do. Yes, there is more love stirring and your energy levels are high.

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Making core connections is important to you now. Tapping into your center and source for the sake of accessing creative inspirations is likely. Ambitions to make activate a steadier flow of income are running high. This includes getting organized. On the other hand, opening your mind to the possibilities includes expanding your scope of vision of what is possible. Clear away doubt, confusion and clutter to create abundance!

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Actions to produce new ideas and understanding find you in a studious mood. Thoughts about the world and how to meet the challenges and to secure your situation are strong. You are ready to assert yourself as necessary and enter into new territory. This includes the quality of your connections, relationships and your reputation in the market place in general. Make a list of all the possibilities.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Taking stock of you skills, assets, resources and talents is a top priority now. You are eager to try new angles. To succeed outwardly however, you may have to work inwardly as well. Clearing subconscious fears and blocks is the way of wisdom and producing outer effects like magic. You may feel the need for assistance in this regard and if so set the clear intention to get it and you will.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

You are in a pioneering mood. Experiential and experimental activities are attractive to you now. You may feel rebellious about things and therefore desire to break through the status quo and perhaps to invent new approaches or tools. Your creative power is growing steadily now and this will continue for some time to come. Yet don’t wait or hesitate. Set your sights, focus to aim and go for what you love, want and desire.

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Taking action without includes turning within. This twist of perspectives need not be contradictory. You may simply find yourself in your studio, or study or private room or in retreat; or at least taking some extra time out to dream and visualize your intentions. Outer effects are the secret of the ages, the way of magic. Getting clear on your directions and what you want and then focusing is part of the deal.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Connecting with your core sense of individuality is important to you now. This may include acquiring creative and artistic tools and supplies that will assist your self expression. Fashion and clothing are important elements to produce a new self concept and attitude so do consider their value. Be willing to push for what you want and to try on a new hat or two and discover a new style.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

New levels of power and authority are emerging for you now. This may include approaching authority figures for favours and earned rewards. Artistic and cultural expressions are featured. Digging deep into your well of power implies tapping your subconscious mind. Take command of your life by tapping you higher power and commanding it to work for you. Be sure to express gratitude for the support.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You are in the mood to embark upon a journey. You may simply want to go on an adventure by way of a book. Gaining knowledge and information that you can use and share is likely. Cultivating healthier relationships is guiding your creative focus now. Desires for more intimacy and emotional connection are growing. Consider that in order to feel more connected with others; you need to feel more connected with yourself. Learning to accept, embrace and love yourself as you are is an important key. Self hate produces a deep dark hole, while self love grows colourful wings for ecstatic flights!
