Major Planetary Ingresses - 2008 to 12/21/2012 The following outline offers a brief overview with some basic themes that are being activated by the major planetary activity currently creating major inner and our shifts in society. I will elaborate more upon these themes in the next newsletter. In each section I offer a brief outline of the positive and the negative range of probability and possibility Pluto ingress (enters) Capricorn in January 2008 and will remain there until 2023. Both Pluto and Capricorn are power signs so we can expect some major activity. Capricorn represents outer authority while Pluto is very much about inner power. Corruptions in Government emerging from the private sector and organized crime syndicates will face off. Unless the government represents the will of the majority, the private sector will continue to act purely for the sake of profit and this is no longer sustainable. =
Uranus ingress Aries May 30 – August 15th 2010 then March 13, 2011 – 2018. Uranus in Aries is a very dynamic combination indeed. Uranus is about sudden change, inventiveness, future oriented thinking, revolution and Aries is about pioneering action, assertion and aggression. Together this implies accelerated change, revolution, major beginnings, innovations, environmental laws and government reform. Where
Saturn is about structure, organization, discipline and the establishment of new rules and laws and structures for the sake of realistic leadership, authority and government at all levels of society. Over the course of time that Saturn has been in Virgo we have witnessed the progressive rise of awareness of the dire state of the environment at governmental levels. Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Truth” is a noted example of action and activation of this fundamental issue of our times. Many newspapers during this time have dedicated the entire issue to the environment. Much has probably been brewing behind the scenes in preparation for action that will be directed at resolving the environmental issues we face. When Saturn enters Libra in late October 2009, the commitment to create new laws will become more apparent on public levels. Of course, for the laws and changes to really succeed, the efforts will have to come from the international economic arena as well as from governments. It is worth noting that Saturn is considered to be exalted in Libra and therefore it suggests that the energies of Saturn will be at their best. This is where Uranus in Aries and Neptune and Pisces will have to play their own vital roles as well in awakening humanity and initiating a new spiritual ethic and sense of global communion. Over the course of the time between now and 2013, Saturn will have moved through Libra and have entered Scorpio in October of 2012. When this occurs, the changes based on endings, death and rebirth and deep transformation will enter into their more crucial stage. Saturn ingress Virgo Sept 2007. =
Saturn ingress Libra October 30, 2009 – October 6, 2012. =
Saturn ingress Scorpio Oct 6, 2012 – December 21, 2014. Saturn in Scorpio is akin to Pluto in Capricorn. At best this mutual reception (healthy exchange of energies) between Saturn in Pluto’s ruling sign and Pluto in Saturn’s ruling sign will produce very positive expressions of power. Perhaps we will see new qualities of leadership, integrity and power come forward. Often when I have done the charts of people with this position, there was a death of the father early on either literally or figuratively. In some cases it was a death and rebirth situation where father would leave for extended periods only to return again, and then leave again… Either way, Saturn in Scorpio symbolizes death and rebirth and metamorphic processes. The proverbial caterpillar entering the chrysalis (cocoon) to be transformed and emerge as a butterfly = higher state of consciousness and being based on liberation ordeal and process.
Jupiter ingress Aquarius January 2009 – January 19, 2010. In and of itself this positive aspect points to a brighter future. Social interaction and optimism fill the air. Despite the lagging economy, this spirit of enthusiasm can be seen and felt so far. However, it should be noted that Jupiter formed a rare conjunction with Chiron and Neptune at 26 degrees of Aquarius in late May. This aspect is still active and will be all year. This rare alignment signals the healing of religious and spiritual wounds and rifts. *PLEASE NOTE. Planetary conjunctions should be understood to be the seed beginning of a much longer and larger process. So, while this rare and dynamic conjunction aspect is exact this year, the implications of it will continue in phases and stages for many years to come. I am currently in the process of deciphering these dates for all planetary conjunctions that are in effect and will be in this present era. My aim is to have this outline complete for my next New Moon Newsletter in Virgo. Jupiter ingress Aquarius January 2009 - January 2010 =
Jupiter ingress Pisces January 2010 – June 7, 2010 then September 10 2009 – January 20, 2011. Jupiter is the traditional ruler of Pisces and therefore can be said to be in a position of honour. Jupiter influences culture, philosophy, ethics, risk, faith, expansion, higher education and visionary attunement to the future. While in Pisces, Jupiter will contribute to raising the spiritual bar. People will turn to religious and spiritual attitudes. Ideally, the spiritual influences will rise above the religious as religion has the ironic tendency to divide people on the basis of conflicting convictions and beliefs. As much as Jupiter in Pisces can lend to creating a spiritual revolution, it can also lead to excess, fanaticism and irrational religious zeal = Jupiter ingress Pisces January 2010 - January 2011
Jupiter ingress Aries –January 2011 – June 2011. Jupiter is at its fastest rate of motion when in Aries. The effects of this transit will produce an accelerated shift and move towards exploring new territory. =
Jupiter ingress Taurus June 2011 – June, 2012. This aspect indicates a return to nature, farming, communal living, peaceful activity, building and the activation of new economies, currencies and trade.
