Tip of the Week:

Mercury finally pulls out of its shadow period this week. This is the three week period of catch-up, so to speak, after 3 weeks of retrograde motion. The same is true for all planets. The Sun, Moon and Earth do not turn Retrograde, but all the remaining planets in the solar system as well as the asteroids etcetera do turn retrograde at rhythmic and predictable intervals. Planets do not actually move backwards, of course. Yet, from the stand point of our perspective and subsequently, of our perceptions from here on Earth, they ‘appear’ to, as an actual phenomenon. This anomalous behaviour of the planets perplexed astronomers throughout the ages and this curiosity eventually lead to the revolution of a Sun centered solar system verses that of an Earth centered one. The popular historical figures include Galileo, Kepler, Copernicus and Brahe. The same is true for the Precession of the Equinoxes. This phenomenon, by the way, is also apparent and is the central theme surrounding the differences between Western Tropical and Vedic Sidereal systems of Astrology. What’s more, it is also a central theme focus linked to the 12/21/2012 event that is gaining the attention of the world. The great Ages - Aries through Pisces, the alignment of the Vernal Equinoxes and the alignments of the Galactic Center (Precession) and the Winter Solstice (Tropical Astrology – Seasonal and linked to the Tropics of Cancer and Capricorn. These themes all hold important messages for our rapidly changing times. The big news in this regard is called “The Shift of the Ages”. Others refer to it as “The Great Alignment”. There appear to many interpretations about it. What these and other such references point to, is that we are currently experiencing and will seen experience a climactic series of events which will leave all of humanity transformed. Some assert that it will birth the next phase of evolution where an entirely new species will be born. Aries (Mar 21 – Apr 20)

As mercury enters its own sign again this week you curiosity will increase as will the scope of your communications. Desires for love, affection and pleasure in general may offset more practical concerns and interests. Enjoy this wave while it lasts as much as you can. It will remain quite strong through to the end of the month and will peak at summer solstice and for several days afterward. With so many big changes shaking in your world, you are wise to fill your tanks with plenty of rest & relaxation so you can go full guns again, later.

Taurus (Apr 20 – May 21)

Gaining clarity about the person you feel your truly are continue. This includes outlining your priorities. To do so, it is generally best to tune-in to and cultivate a vision that holds meaning and purpose. By summer’s end the planetary alignments will support you to more fully access your intuitive voice and bring your divine destiny into clearer focus and activation. Hollywood films often allude to the notion that people create their own their destiny. That is Hollywood alright. However, destiny does imply co-creation. Intend to do so!

Gemini (May 21 – Jun 21)

Mercury will enter your sign again on Saturday the 13^th and will prove to be a breath of fresh air. Your focus will turn more fully to health and security and what the two share in common. Meanwhile, dreams and fantasies of true love and passion will be dancing in your mind. At worst, fears that you will never truly get certain needs met may plague your mind. Dismiss these negative hallucinations lest you reactively co-create them into reality. Rather, begin now to summon the courage and determination to take the necessary steps and risks to realize your dreams.

Cancer (Jun 22 – Jul 22)

Amidst a busy social schedule, you may want to escape to rest and retreat. Honour this urge and do not deny it because if you do you experience undue anxiety, impatience and irritation. Go and do as necessary and as the flow guides yet quality bursts of sweet silence, perhaps reading, or gardening or generally relaxing quietly will prove extra satisfying. Intend to create a rhythmic balance between social activity and retreat now.

Leo (Jul 23 – Aug 23)

Mixing business with pleasure suggests that you may be making new friends and establishing key connections and contacts. Ambitions for new tools and mixed with desires for overall effectiveness both professionally and socially find you reaching out. Be open to new innovations and to re-inventing yourself or your usual approach now, for the sake of success. Your horizons are expanding now and you are wise to position yourself and make connections, especially for future prospects.

Virgo (Aug 24 – Sep 22)

The momentum in your career and in other public arenas should be flowing smoothly now, if you have been paying attention and making the necessary efforts over the past weeks and months. Either way, set your intentions to persevere and be willing to take risks to approach authority figures in your life for favours, promotions, loans, new deals and contracts. Do the necessary investigations to prepare your approach then push through and beyond fears of rejection to realize new levels of success!

Libra (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Questions about the meaning and value of things are running through your mind. What is something, someone or all the efforts we make in life worth? Deciphering what is important is a common occurrence but sometimes the questions are bigger, the stakes higher. Investigations are good but they go only so far until we feel the need to ask questions more directly, of sources or persons who might be able to offer insights and answers that we can not seem to achieve alone. Be willing to enquire and consult.

Scorpio (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Your investigations into the deeper meaning of things is about to get deeper yet. This cycle should be short so act on this impulse now. You are undergoing many changes in the way you think and see yourself and the world. It may be that you are more talented and skilled than you realize and the time has come for you to realize this and to make efforts to share what you know. Pay closer attention to your love interests, on all fronts.

Sagittarius (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Increased stimulation on relationship fronts will produce more communications this week. You have probably been extra busy in the past couple of weeks or so. At best, you are enjoying the process of giving to situations. However, you are eager to establish a new foundation in your life and this is requiring additional efforts. So, you can give only so much. So, where to focus your energies is the question. Be willing to engage in conversations yet above all yield to your own inner authority in the end.

Capricorn (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Diversifying your interests and focus is keeping you busy these days. You will want to doubly pay attention to the details this week. Fun, pleasure and romance are also high on your list and everything else may come second to this. With your overall power potential on the rise, you are determined to take command of every area of your life. This trend will continue and you will get busier as the year progresses. For this reason, you may be wise to enjoy yourself and indulge a little while you can. Weave some good investments into the mix and you will be glowing.

Aquarius (Jan 20 – Feb 19)

A creative and playful cycle continues to inspire your senses. Your mind is sharply focused to opportunities to simply enjoy the moment and to enter into new territory as well. Creating beauty in your home implies changes and efforts, repairs and renovations. You want to experience a whole new level of freedom compared to what you used to know and this is the time to do it. The key is to shift your perceptions and attitudes as well as your home environment.

Pisces (Feb 20 – Mar 20)

Your focus will remain firmly fixed on home and family for a little while yet. Oh, you might also be enjoying your home town and neighbours and family as well. Where the parameters of these reach is another question. If you feel the world is your oyster, you may feel the urge to go far and wide, for example. Fortunately, your energy levels are rather high and staying there affording you the inspiration to consider a variety of potentials and possibilities.
