New Moon in Capricorn - December 27, 2008

The New Moon in Capricorn occurred at exactly 4:22 am PST on January 27^th, 2008.What is really striking about this New Moon chart is the fact that there are 6 planets in Capricorn. They are situated in 3 pairs; Mars and Pluto are at 0 and 1 degree respectively, for the Sun and Moon conjunction or New Moon, the exact degree was 6 Capricorn 08, an Mercury and Jupiter are closely aligned at 23 and 27 degrees respectively! 

This is very impressive indeed. With Saturn, the ruling planet for Capricorn in Virgo, all of the above are ‘disposited’ by Saturn there. Saturn in Virgo has a great deal to do with the current awakening to the environmental issues of our times. This scenario also synchronizes with the downturn in the economy. Saturn in Virgo promotes a sense of humility as well as of service. Attention to details with aims to improve, refine and clean bring forward a constructively critical attitude.
