Persons who might be especially interested in this course are those who are particularly sensitive to the Moon. In Astrology such a person is recognized as a “Lunar Type” as opposed to a Solar type of person. The following is an answer given to a client concerning her FREE Astro-Cartography Report that I am offering to all my clients who get a full length (90 minutes minimum) Astrology session with me before February 2008. The answer to my client is detailed so please bear with it and you will gain some important background on what it is and how it can add quality to your life. Initial Response to a client's question:

  Since I have not answered the question clearly in writing to anyone yet about Astro Cartography, I will offer you a simple, comprehensive and clear explanation of what it is and how it can assist you to learn more about how the place where you live influences you, above and beyond culture and language etcetera. This knowledge helps you to understand yourself and your living environment/community/city more fully. Perhaps more importantly, it indicates the influences of places where you may like to visit or even live. Some places in the world are much more harmonious and beneficial than others on an individual basis and at certain times in our life.

Clients Questions:

"Hi Michael,

  As I was walking away the other day from our session together I totally forgot to bring up the astrocartography chart.  Do I choose one based on a specific thing I want to do, see or have?  Please let me know because I’m not quite sure."

My Complete Answer:

  The report is primarily based on where, a place or region, you would like to know more about and what influences will be most operative there, e.g. Calgary, where you live and were born near. Red Deer is in the basic area or region, from a global perspective, which the Astrocartography Map offers. The session I did for you indirectly illustrated some of what that region is for you because a birth chart is read from the standpoint of place of birth. Anyway, you could still benefit form a chart for Calgary because in addition to taking yet another angle of interpretation of the quality of relationship you have with Calgary and that region, which can be illuminating in itself; it also highlights current events based on "Transits". Transits are a common feature of Astrology and measure the impact of where planets are now, in fact, and relate these positions to where they were at the time of a person’s birth. Transits are about prediction based on the science of Astrology and indicate many levels of evolutionary trends and themes. The planets in their actual cycles compared to birth charts illustrates many overlapping cycles, each with their own respective time periods. There are other prediction interpretation techniques as well like Progressions and Solar Arc and Solar Returns. These techniques are like the formulas for a mathematician or for a chemist. The main point is that the Report offers some key insights about current events for the location in question in addition to general ongoing influences - the variable and the common denominator.

  As far as the question of whether the report answers to what you want to do, see or have goes, yes it addresses these but only indirectly. This is where personal choice emerges. Yet, this can be greatly assisted by a qualified Astrologer who can interpret a sophisticated blueprint of one's destiny - an Astrological Birth Chart - and so bring clarity to the deeper meaning and purpose of any given choice and to inspire a realistic vision that is also in alignment. This is where Astrology serves as much more than information and becomes a veritable healing activation. This from the standpoint of awakening, alignment, activation, identification of issues, direction and solutions that influence the whole life focus and invariable effect the body, mind, emotions and soul. When this is understood and acknowledged then the process can be given greater respect and attention.

  Astrology is the science of our relationship to the cosmos and our selves as one grand continuum. Many claim they do not "believe in it." This is because they have been conditioned to "believe" than it is based on "beliefs". Consequently, few have taken the time to understand it and so the many remain deluded by their beliefs. Fortunately, the times are changing and we now are awakening to a new paradigm, a Holistic Paradigm and this will return Astrology and other such sciences back to their rightful place in the world - guiding people in their choices and destiny.

  So now, I, a live professional Astrologer with significant practice and background, can work with a person to review a whole series of prospective places in the world quite quickly. The advantage is a broad scope with in-depth insight reflective of a deep appreciation of the client's "whole" Birth Chart.

  Another approach is to purchase an Astrocartography Map by calling 1-800 MAPPING or 1-800-619-1649. This offers your Astrology Birth Chart mapped over the entire globe and offers basic interpretations of probably experience based on strongest planetary influences as well "crossings" between planets. It is comprehensive in scope but does include a small learning curve of Astrology. A report offers a much more detailed interpretation yet targets a very specific area or location. I say area because the influence would cover more than a city, for example. Reports are comprehensive, educational, entertaining and even fascinating. I usually sell them for $24.95 each.

  Working with an Astrologer can include the other two yet it offers a live, intuitive deeper scope of insight that reflects the core themes, needs, desires and destiny of the client which a Report on it's own cannot provide. I refer to the Report as a thorough 2 dimensional interpretation, while a personal contact reading with a qualified Astrologer would yield a 3 and 4 and possibly more dimensional approach. This would be supported by the Report and the Astro Cartography Map for speed targeting requested and other possible locations. The Science behind Astrocartography is simple and is pretty easy to learn and apply, yet rests upon a sophisticated understanding that the Astrocartogarpahy Map, the Report and the qualities Astrologer can best support together.

  So, for now you may choose to simply get a report for Calgary unless you have a curiosity or a calling to know about some other place in the world.  Thank you for your patience in reading this detailed answer.
